I had some code to do that at some point, and we wiped it out for the sake of simplicity. I'll see about getting it back into musicindex in one way or another.

Package: libapache-mod-musicindex Severity: wishlist The current version of libapache-mod-musicindex requires custom stylesheets to be put into /usr/share/mod-musicindex, but /usr is supposed to be off-limits to the administrator. It would be great if I could specify another directory to search in the configuration, which would then be searched after mod-musicindex for stylesheets. If you cannot make it configurable, at least allow files in /etc/musicindex, please. Of course, to make this work with apache, the Alias has to point to the other directory, and /usr/share/mod-musicindex has to be linked into it. Or maybe musicindex can be smart about it, because it knows the location, so maybe we could add a new Alias /musicindex-custom and have the Python script output URLs accordingly for files in that directory.
