I cannot reproduce this - tried on two different unstable machines. It
really should be fixed...

Why do you install those manually?

Why are your movies in ~/Movies/Democracy? Are you on a Mac? The Debian
package uses ~/.democracy/Movies as the movie directory...

This is a bit odd - why is one of them 1.8.0.4-1 and the other
1.8.0.4-2? They should usually both have the same version, I think.

Are you running testing, or a mixture of testing and unstable? Or did
some recent dist-upgrade fail (partially) or something?
