reopen 351668 reassign 351668 cupsys thanks Hi there,
yes, probably udev is not the problem here. But still I am very displeased with your reaction Marco. Even though udev might be a PITA to maintain you could calmly reply to stupid phrasings. I stumbled across this bug due to an end-user requesting help with printing, and am not used to the materia. Should cupsys ask through debconf if the parallel port is used and then add the needed drivers to `/etc/modules' (which is created by `modules-init-tools' anyway, so not udev's business)? Kind regards, Philipp Kern P.S.: Please reassign and/or close the bug if I totally missed the point or were otherwise wrong. I did check for duplicates in cupsys' buglist, but I might have missed one. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
