Package: dosbox Version: 0.65-1 Severity: normal "Game Wizard" tool is a DOS Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) program that searches and edits memory, and can "lock" memory bytes to a specific value. Secondary functions include altering execution speed, taking screenshots, boss screen, saving and loading of program state, intentionally "crashing" a program to the command prompt, and swapping out a program to open a DOS shell.
These are all operated via a menu that is triggered by a hotkey during the execution of a program. It suspends execution (properly handling a configured sound card to avoid glitches) and may swap DOS memory around for some operations. (To avoid issues with XMS and EMS, I have it swapping to disk.) In 0.63, it would run, albeit only with the "normal" or "simple" cores. I have used it often in this configuration without issue. Running with the "dynamic" core exits with "Illegal option", and the "full" core appears to freeze (but could just be extremely slow). In 0.65, it fails to run with any core. CPU cores "normal" and "simple" exit dosbox with "CPU:GRP5:Illegal Call 7". The "full" core continues to freeze. The "dynamic" core simply exits as if the command was a no-op, neither loading the program nor crashing dosbox. As far as I can tell, the program can no longer run whatsoever under dosbox version 0.65.
