I'm aware of the problem and it has to do with the transition, and the same problem exist on tightvncserver and vncserver as well. The problem is that the font path and rgb path has been changed. What needs to be done is to change the paths in the sources for vnc, but yet I have not succeeded. It is actually pretty hard as this seems to be very hard to find where it is ...
