Sorry, I can't reproduce the bug again. I obtained sucess to install mysql yesterday adding to the user “mysql” manually, I believe that the problem was in “useradd”. I removed mysql and its user and I installed it again as you it asked for, but now work. Sorry, I don't speak english and I use a translation program.
