Installed and tried galeon.
It shows edgy fonts, as does any other Gnome application when run from within 
KDE session, until gnome-control-center is run.
In the gnome-control-center I need to double-click on fonts then close the 
fonts window (my previous email failed to mention that).
After that all Gnome apps shows anti-aliase fonts, until I log out.
