Package: xpp
Version: 1.5-4.1
Severity: important
After transition from debian sarge to debian etch
it is not possible to print with xpp.
When I start xpp I get in the printer list
xerox: Destination not available
State: Unknown Location: Location unknown Type: No information
available
Using xpp I can see and set options that corresponds to this printer
(like duplex)
but due to the above it is not possible to print.
This holds for 1.2.1 as well as 1.2.2 version of cups.
Using lpr or gtklp it is possible to print without any problems.
I am able to print a test page through the web without any problems too.
I tried to reinstall the printer but it didn't help.
I tried to recompile the source but it didn't help.
(the same problem)
