1. NEWS.Debian is not displaying the item saying that SPF is available. I reviewed the logs of the upgrade to 4.62-2 to verify this ( my latest upgrade was to 4.62-4). Speculation: Sometimes this is caused by a syntax error; perhaps the omission of a "*" before the item is significant. More likely, the fact that all (most?) if the exim4 packages share the same source is confusing things. exim4-deamon-heavy clearly has a different NEWS.Debian from exim4-config; I think all packages with the same source need the sames Debian NEWS and changes files. One package maintainer, however, has told me that's not his experience. I have not reviewed older upgrades to see what, if any NEWS for exim is getting reported. In particular, the prior news item also lacks a "*". 2. Is the change for SPF specific to exim4-config? If not, maybe the daemon packages need to mention this as well. 3. NEWS.Debian says the change was in 4.62-2, but the changelog entries for SPF appear in 4.62-3. 4. The NEWS item has a typo.
