Therefore I humbly suggest that the resulting no-op buttons and menu items should either suggest to the user a possible course of action (such as installing yelp), or not exist entirely. Note that I had to strace gnumeric to find out why nothing happened; there was not even a message to stderr/stdout. I assume I will have to do the same to determine what particular web browser (presumably none of the four I already have installed) I need to make the web help work too.
