I can confirm Dimitris's report above. I also have my printer (HP Laserjet 4) attached to a parallel port on a remote host. When I print directly from the remote host, it prints okay. When I print from the local host, it fails with the following entries in the error_log
E [27/Aug/2006:10:03:12 +0100] [Job 289] No pages found! E [27/Aug/2006:10:03:12 +0100] PID 21824 (/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertohp) stopped with status 1! The workaround is to convert the printer entry on the local host to type Raw while leaving it at the HP Laserjet Cups entry on the remote host. This allows me to print all types of files. I'm running testing on both hosts. This problem has only appeared since the upgrade to cupsys 1.2.2-1. Rod Tye. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
