I know that you have a new upstream version in experimental and will probably be doing the python transition there, I have every hope that this NMU won't need any action on your part and will be supersceded by your new upstream version soon. In the meantime, since I needed to do the work to have a working viewcvs anyway, I've uploaded it. Diff is attached.
