I can confirm this as well.  Suspend to RAM in 2.6.16 worked fine, but
2.6.17-1 and 2.6.17-2 broke this.  I have a Dell Precision M65 (which is
labeled as 'Latitude D820', for some reason).

I don't get a black screen, as in the fedora reports that Pierre
mentioned. I get a kernel backtrace in the 'myecho' process inside
'suspend_return', or something like that.  The backtrace isn't saved to
disk.  Jason, Pierre, do you get the same behaviour?

For the record, I'm using nvidia's binary installer and intel's 3945
driver.  I suspect that doesn't have anything to do with this, though,
since 2.6.16 worked fine with the same setup.
