Hi

I just istalled debian/testing on a 1.7GHz Celeron machine. This minimal debian
system install was done as a net install on Sept 1st and came with
linux-image-2.6.16-2-686 (version 17). the next day I upgraded to version 18
that had shown up in aptitude overnight. The upgrade worked and all is
well...except that when I later installed the xen packages and rebooted..I had
problems:

In the middle (XEN) part of the boot-up the kernel informs me that there will
be a reboot in 5 seconds...this loop continues until I choose the non-Xen
kernel in grub. apparently none of the boot messages make it into the kernel
log or the xend log so I have very little to show regarding this bug..any
advice wuold be appreciated

Note: two weeks ago I installed Debian/Testing with kernel package
linux-image-2.6.16-2-686 (version 17) on a machine with an Intel D930 dual core
processor...and everything works fine with Xen...including installation of
unmodified win XP..

Thanks,

TedF
