Package: python-central
Version: 0.5.5
Followup-For: Bug #380001

In my case that bug was produced for having changed the /usr/bin/python
symlink (I want 2.4 as default) doing the change recommended in bug
#378146 solved the problem.

The change was done in line 86 of pyversions.

Hope it helps a bit.
Marc F.

PS: What is the recommended way to change the default python version?
(I have 3 boxes with the same issues when upgrading because of changing
the default interpreter by hand)
