Package: replicator Version: 3.1-sarge-1.6 Severity: wishlist In despite of reporting on a i386 machine, I am pleasure to inform you I was able to run replicator on an amd64 machine running etch. A few fixes should be applied though. I downloaded the i386 version from etch and installed on amd64 by forcing the architeture. Besides the fixes on the previous reports (tar) I had to install deboostrap in order to have devices.tar.gz. I've changed repli-common and repli-install to accept amd64 (replacing i386) and that is it. The client was also a amd64 and I select etch on /etc/replicator.conf. I am a C guy and I do not know perl enough to put amd or i386 on the files, that is why I am not sending a patch.
The worst part is to compile a 2.6.15 kernel to fit in a floppy disk :) -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-om Locale: LANG=pt_BR, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages replicator depends on: ii cdebootstrap 0.3.11 Bootstrap a Debian system ii dialog 1.0-20060221-1 Displays user-friendly dialog boxe ii grub 0.97-13 GRand Unified Bootloader ii nfs-kernel-server 1:1.0.9-5 Kernel NFS server support ii perl 5.8.8-6.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii rsync 2.6.8-2 fast remote file copy program (lik ii wget 1.10.2-2 retrieves files from the web replicator recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
