Upgrading from udev 98-2 to 100-1 makes mice stop working under X. If I remember correctly this had already happened
once before. Reverting from 100-1 to 98-2 fixes the problem so it should be a change in 100.

my mice stopped working too.. rest seem to be fine
update-rc.d -f udev start 03 S .
update-rc.d -f udev-mtab start 36 S .
seems to fixed iit
