to clarify: you want messages printed by Splashy to be translated if they come from the console, or if they are generated by Splashy itself (say error/warning messages?).
the errors and warnings we can accommodate, but we can't translate the stuff that gets displayed when the app goes in verbose mode and it reads from your console files. just making sure now, the actual implementation of it should be done in template files, as you suggest here.
