hi

the fact that auctex deletes some of the files it ships in .deb
is bad for 'debdelta', too

explanation :
lets say you upload a new auctex, and send it into the archives; then
my server prepares a 'delta' (from the older versions
to the newest),  that is stored in  http://www.bononia.it/debian-deltas ;
then users run 'debdelta-upgrade' on their PCs, and 'debdelta-upgrade'
downloads from bononia all the deltas, and uses it
and the installed version of the old 'auctex' to create the deb
of the new 'auctex'

when my 'debdelta' prepares 'delta' , it assumes that all (non conf)
files listed in the old package will be unaltered and existent
in the installation

and this is not the case, so I have seen that indeed 'debdelta-upgrade'
fails on 'auctex'
