Package: libcrypto++5.2c2a
Version: 5.2.1c2a-3
Severity: serious

It appears that libcrypto++ is compiled with support for the IDEA block
cipher algorithm, which is patented in the US and in Europe until 2010
or thereabouts. Please see Bug #65368 for details.

It may be that RC2, RC5 and RC6 (all present in libcrypto++) are still
considered patent-encumbered as well; I'm not sure.

If Debian's policy on IDEA and other patented ciphers has changed since
I last heard (they were removed from OpenSSL and GnuPG), feel free to
close this bug.
