Hi, I'm not 100% sure, but according to the symptoms on my site, the problem seems to be fixed in 2.6.18: I had the same problem with 2.6.17 and Dell Latitude X1 as described in all of the above listed bug reports. With Debian's stock 2.6.18, it's gone. :-)
