Package: shadow Version: 1:4.0.18.1-3 I have gnome-doc-utils from sarge (0.1.3-3), since shadow does not set a versioned build dependency. During build, xml2po fails because this old version doesn't understand the new style command line syntax. This is ignored by shadow's build scripts, because xml2po has a zero exit code (I will also file a bug against gnome-doc-utils for this one). Excerpt from the build log:
