Package: gem Version: 1:0.90.0-10 Severity: wishlist Nearly done,
I notice that your application lacks an icon. For the Debian package please could you create a 32x32 pixel XPM in /usr/share/pixmaps/gem.xpm and reference it from /usr/lib/menu/gem by adding this: icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/gem.xpm" For more information, please refer to the updated Debian Policy: http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/menu.html/ch3.html#s3.7 This will ensure that your nice icon shows up in most menus. If you're not graphically inclined, I'm prepared to create a suitable icon and submit a menufile patch into the bargain. Please email me with your requirements if this is the case. Thanks for taking the time to deal with this, and thanks for all the effort you have put in to maintaining great free software. tim hall AGNULA/DeMuDi menu monitor -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (101, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-1-multimedia-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB) Versions of packages gem depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20.demudi1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.3 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6 GCC support library ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libmpeg3-1 1.5.4-4 MPEG streams decoding library ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii libquicktime1 0.9.3-2 A library for reading and writing ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtiff4 3.7.1-4 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii puredata [pd] 0.38.0+amidi-3 realtime computer music and graphi ii xlibmesa-gl [libgl1 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Mesa 3D graphics library [XFree86] ii xlibmesa-glu [libgl 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Mesa OpenGL utility library [XFree ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
