What I can propose you, if you agree, if to get me commit access to your SVN (temporarily) so that I maintain the whole l10n update directly there. If this is on Alioth, my login there is, of course, "bubulle".... Then, I could merge all what I have on my HD for the complete fix of debian/po and debian/cvs.templates...
