Package: w3c-linkchecker
Version: 4.2.1-1
Severity: normal

The man page says of -q and --quiet: "No output if no errors are found."

This is not true:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ checklink -q http://bstpierre.org/

Processing http://bstpierre.org/

This may take some time if the document has many links to check.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

This produces too much extra output too be useful during a recursive
check of a 1000+ page website.
