Mmm I only did an 'apt-get install xprint' but apparently the server
didn't start after install. Is this the expected behaviour ?

After starting /etc/init.d/xprint start, I open mozilla and go to
File->Print...

The Print window takes ~5 _real_ minutes to open

I try to print the current page to /home/eric/mozilla.ps

Now the page is printed to mozilla.ps. I can open mozilla.ps with gv
and the page is correctly viewed.

We have a problem here:

atto:/home/eric[0]# which xplsprinters
atto:/home/eric[0]#

So I'm missing xprint-utils...

$ xplsprinters
xplsprinters: no printers found for printer spec "".

Am I supposed to do something special to have my cups printers listed
there ? Note that they all show up fine in the mozilla Print dialog
box.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~]$ echo $XPSERVERLIST

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~]$ xphelloworld -print DJ100plus
xphelloworld: no printers found for printer spec "DJ100plus".

Mmmm why do printers show up in mozilla but not in xprint list ?

I can try later whenever I can install it

Mozilla prints fine but xprint sees no printers...
