Hi, I just compiled v1.02 using GCC 4.1.2 without problems.
The Aspirin code seems to be gone in this release, and the README contains a note that it is not needed. This seems like a nice enough program! In a quick test using a warped, underexposed picture from a digital camera, it didn't really produce usable results, but with a dictionary and better input it might work well! Big problem for me: It does not understand German umlauts yet. Hint: To produce a .tif which the program can understand, use something like convert -compress none -monochrome -density 150x150 inputfile.jpeg output.tif I might package this if nobody else is interested. However, I'll gladly step back if someone else wants to do it, as I have little spare time. Cheers, Richard -- __ _ |_) /| Richard Atterer | \/¯| http://geht.net.gibts.bei.atterer.net ¯ '` ¯
