Package: kde Version: 3.5.5a-1 Severity: normal
At intervals (frequency unknown, but enough to be annoying), kwin and kicker will both start using large amounts of CPU. Attaching to either with strace -p shows that they're both continually trying to open ulcUTF-8.so.2 from two locations: open("/usr/lib/X11/locale/common/xlcUTF-8.so.2", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) open("/usr/share/X11/locale/common/xlcUTF-8.so.2", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) open("/usr/lib/X11/locale/common/xlcUTF-8.so.2", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) open("/usr/share/X11/locale/common/xlcUTF-8.so.2", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) [...] packages.debian.org says this file doesn't exist in any of the packages it knows about, which makes it a bit hard to fix the problem. Is there a missed build option somewhere?
