This needs to be killed simply on the grounds that I've always had to comment it out of the sites-available/default file to quiet down apachectl which kept whining about how *:0 had no vhosts defined or something like that. :) conf.d might not be a good place for this, though, because it's meant for user data. apache2.conf is also a lousy place since it's a conffile (and one not managed by ucf). -- 2.
