Confirmed, the problem is solved in ctsim-4.5.0-1 and ctsim-pentium4-4.5.0-1. But this also means that the v4.4.5-1 .debs of ctsim and ctsim-pentium4 for i386 were indeed broken. Did you consider using pbuilder to build the ctsim packages?
