| Hi,
|
| littler has a "Build-Depends: automake" which has been replaced by

| fixing this issue ('Note, selecting automake1.4 instead of automake'

| 'apt-get install automake' will fail with:
|
| Package automake is not available, but is referred to by another package.
| This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
| is only available from another source
| However the following packages replace it:
| automake1.4
| E: Package automake has no installation candidate

Well, but why does that not trip up

a) my pbuiler at home

b) the autobuilders listed at http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?pkg=littler
which built the package several dozen times

c) Why does lintian not tell me?

| Please update.

I now have, but I am also downgrading the bug as this manifestedly builds from
source as demonstrated several dozen times (see a) and b) above).

It actually works without either auto* so I just removed them:

littler (0.0.7-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * debian/control: Remove Build-Depends: on automake and autotools-dev
                                                        (Closes: #394295)

as I only needed that in the beginning when our 'make dist' from SVN
didn't yet include everything.

I'll either throw 0.0.7-2 up there or Jeff and I may decide to call the
current SVN snapshot the new 0.0.8. Either way the debian/control will be
'lighter'.

Thanks for the minor bug report.

Dirk

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
