It's not about the reported bugs I'm talking about, but about the
unreported ones, i.e. the bugs which are not reported *because* there
is not a packages.debian.org virtual package.

The BTS is (among other things) a universal way to reach whoever is
assigned a task in debian to report a bug. The fact that you can
report a bug against a real package by default, but not against a
*.debian.org server by default does not mean package maintainers have
more reasons to be reachable via the BTS than the maintainers of the
different *.debian.org services.

This is as if you, BTS people, in the name of Debian, concede the
right for a *.debian.org server administrator not to receive bugs
about a task which is his/her responsability, but does not do the same
(concede equal right) for ordinary package maintainers.

Fantastic. May I explicitly request that I do not wish to receive bugs
against one or all of my packages via the BTS and that I want to "organize
my workflow" by another means?

Perhaps it's not the BTS administrator's place to determine such thing,
but maybe it's not the different teams's place either.

Do you think I need a general resolution for "all *.debian.org servers
should have a virtual package to report bugs in the BTS"? I thought
it would be considered of common sense.
