Package: apt-show-versions Version: 0.10 Severity: normal
I have mostly etch system with the following sources in sources.list: deb http://debian.nsu.ru/debian/ etch main contrib non-free deb http://debian.nsu.ru/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free apt-show-versions treats all packages installed from 'etch' as unstable and proposes to update them to unstable version. When I change sources.list to deb http://debian.nsu.ru/debian/ etch main contrib non-free deb http://debian.nsu.ru/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free apt-show-versions correctly detects packages from testing as such and does not propose to update them to unstable versions. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (800, 'testing'), (700, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages apt-show-versions depends on: ii apt 0.6.46.2 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libapt-pkg-perl 0.1.20 Perl interface to libapt-pkg ii perl [libstorable-perl] 5.8.8-6.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction apt-show-versions recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
