Package: libgnomevfs2-0 Version: 2.14.2-2+b1 Severity: normal I have an IDE system, so my partitions are named /dev/hd*. Beginning with kernel 2.6.19, I started to use libata, which made my partitions accessible as /dev/sd*. As I still want to use an 2.6.18 as fallback I decided to use UUID resp. LABEL in /etc/fstab, so that I can write
LABEL=Backup (or UUID=xxx) /mnt/backup ... instead of /dev/[hs]da5 /mnt/backup ... Unfortunately gnome-vfs does not deal with this case properly, if I use the option user, to make the partition mountable by normal users. In that case the partition is listed twice under nautilus computer:///, e.g. Backup and backup in my case.
