Generaly this is not realy a wish, since it is required else "smstools" will be worthless in a very short time. Since some month I receive on my SMS-Gateway-Server more and more SMS coded in PDU <http://www.dreamfabric.com/sms/> and can not read it. In the meanwhile I have written a BASH script which can decode partialy messages received by smsd. Biggest problems are PDU messages send in UCS-2 since even "iconv" is not able to decode the TP-UD string. I have already updated "smstools" to the version 1.16-1.1 from Sid but it does not help.
