I've today upgraded from 2.6 (sid) to 2.8 (experimental), and Evolution
stopped to display any of my IMAP accounts, but the accounts were listed
in the preferences. It took me quite a while to puzzle how this could
happen and what to do about it: simply change "IMAPv4" to "IMAP" in the
preferences solved it.

It would be a pity if users upgrading from sarge would be presented with
an "empty" evolution after the upgrade.

Wouldn't it be possible to add a (presumably simple) patch to Evolution
that on startup does something like (if account has type IMAPv4, set it
to IMAP, done). That would solve it transparantly for the user.

If this is not possible, at least a note should be made in NEWS.Debian.
