There is no AAC (ie. faa[cd]) plugin for gstreamer 0.10 in Debian. There are patent issues with AAC, so that's probably why. xmms doesn't use gstreamer, which is why it works. > The application shows the progress bar and creates an empty target file. > But that's it.
