Sorry, perhaps I did not explain it right.I meant that a DVD-R from Verbatim brand went OK and a DVD-R from TDK brand FAILED. The experiment is very consistent, the TDK DVD always failed and the Verbatim always went OK. But readcd (gnomebaker) read both fine.
