Hi, Previously it has been reported that E250 video did not work at all due to the lack of multidomain PCI support. Just to confirm, you are saying that it's working ok with 'fbdev' driver at 8-bit depth, right? The correct driver for you card is 'glint', I believe. Could you try it and see if the situation improves in any way?
