I'm very sorry Eddy, but I can't reproduce at all your bug. I have konserve doing backups just as you say, in a directory, and it works for me (and I suppose that it also works for the 3 o 4 people that uploaded the package this years). I've also created a backup profile following all your steps, and works here. Can you please provide more info? Do you have free space in your hard disk? Do you have read permissions in the directory that you chose as origin? Do you have write permissions in the destination directory? Thanks.
