Hi there,

I don't see any segmentation fault.
OTOH I do see:

/usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids
/usr/share/lshw/pci.ids
/usr/share/misc/pci.ids
/usr/share/xviddetect/pci.ids
/usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids
/usr/share/lshw/usb.ids
/usr/share/misc/usb.ids
/var/lib/usbutils/usb.ids

which is unnecessary file space clutter :(
191506 was closed with:

  * Recommends pciutils and hwdata, closes: #191506

which is fine and dandy, but lshw-common still installs it's own
{pci, usb}.ids instead of symblinking to some appropriate file comming with
one of:

hwdata: /usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids
pciutils: /usr/share/misc/pci.ids
xviddetect: /usr/share/xviddetect/pci.ids
usbutils: /usr/share/misc/usb.ids
usbutils: /var/lib/usbutils/usb.ids
hwdata: /usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids

Looks like the hwdata files might be the obvious choice.

Cheers,
Cristian
