Sebastian, I wonder if it might be appropriate to also include the
example tigrc file in the package to give an idea of how to set optiona.
It doesn't contain all options, though.

Yes, the defaults has not been put together with a lot of care. On the
other hand it is also difficult to make a configuration that will fit
all terminals, for example the black/green cursor you suggest above is
less readable for me because of transparent backgrounds.

Anyway, I would definately like to hear and even include either
improvements to the default colors or color schemes in the form of tigrc
files. ;)
