Hi. I use the dict client all the time, and noticed that dict.org
recently added translation dictionaries to the default list. This is a
cool idea, but it's kind of annoying to run dict looking for a
definition and get a long list of translations at the end. There
doesn't seem to be any easy way to omit these dictionaries on my end
(other than enumerating all the dictionaries I want, which list is
ever-changing), so I'm wondering if you have a solution. Perhaps the
translation dictionaries should be moved to a different dict server, or
a feature should be added to select a class of dictionaries. (I don't
know anything about the dict protocol, so I don't know whether this is
feasible.)

I filed a Debian bug[1] to track this issue. If you reply-all to this
message, your response will be added to the bug log.

Thanks,
Andrew
