first of all: thanks for youtube-dl, it's great to be able to watch youtube-videos without flash in the browser! And it would be even nicer, if youtube-dl would automatically add "http://"; to the URL if it's missing: $ youtube-dl youtube.com/watch?v=5UlyXaN_ICU Error: URL does not seem to be a youtube video URL. If it is, report a bug. $ youtube-dl http://youtube.com/watch?v=5UlyXaN_ICU [works] Rationale: popular search engines display results without the leading "http://"; :-) regards, Holger
