I've got no problem with Galeon 1.3.20-1 in sid, could you please grab
1.3.20-1 from sid and check if that solves the problem for you? If you
don't want to install the sid package, wait 3/4 days for the package to
enter sid, see <http://packages.qa.debian.org/g/galeon.html>.

True. Let's see what happens with a newer Galeon first. If it doesn't
solve your problem, please try moving your Galeon config out of the way
(mv .galeon .galeon.bak) and see if that helps.
