Hello,
I have a strange problem with Qt applications and openbox. The problem is,
that
when these applications remembe their last position and use this for
placing
their window, the windows acually end up in a different positions. This
only
happens if the application determines its position after it has closed the
window.
The displacement is constant depending on application, and seems to be
equal
to the decoration size. I have tried the difference between determining the
size when mapped and when closed, and it turned out that maximized windows
mapped get top left (0,0), and closed (1,18) or something like that. I
thought
they should get (0,0) anytime but other WMs are performing similary (well
I'm
not sure now if they get the (0,0) alternative, if there is need, I'll
test it)
Can anyone tell what is the problem?
