Package: jasmin-sable Version: 1.2-2 Severity: wishlist *** Please type your report below this line ***
There are newer versions of Jasmin available, 2.3 being the latest. It would be nice if the Debian package reflected this. Among other things, the newer version does not require quotes around field names, which have caused some problems for me. I'm using Jasmin for a MIPS to Java bytecode recompiler I'm implementing (http://spel.bth.se/index.php/Cibyl), and found this error when someone tried to recompile my generated code with a newer version of Jasmin. Otherwise thanks for packaging Jasmin! // Simon -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to$ Versions of packages jasmin-sable depends on: ii gij [java-virtual-machine 4:4.1.1-13 The GNU Java bytecode interpreter ii gij-4.1 [java-virtual-mac 4.1.1-17 The GNU Java bytecode interpreter ii kaffe-pthreads [java-virt 2:1.1.7-4 A POSIX threads enabled version of ii sablevm [java-virtual-mac 1.13-1.1 Free implementation of Java Virtua ii sun-j2sdk1.5 [java-virtua 1.5.0+update06 Java(TM) 2 SDK, Standard Edition, jasmin-sable recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
