These systems can set the values using TMPFS_SIZE, SHM_SIZE, RUN_SIZE and LOCK_SIZE, if they are unhappy with the default values. TMPFS_SIZE is the default unless some of the individual values are set. How are these variables insufficient for systems using lots of POSIX shared memory?
