Package: tsclient Version: 0.148-2 Severity: important Any attempt to add the tsclient applet to a Gnome panel results in the following error spewed into ~/.xsession-errors:
(gnome-panel:6124): GConf-WARNING **: Directory `/apps/panel/toplevels/top_panel_screen1/screen' was not being monitored by GConfClient 0x80ff0a8 (gnome-panel:6124): GConf-WARNING **: Directory `/apps/panel/toplevels/bottom_panel_screen1/screen' was not being monitored by GConfClient 0x80ff0a8 Unable to open desktop file greasy-0097e3705b.desktop for panel launcher Unable to open desktop file greasy-0000f03329.desktop for panel launcher ** (gnome-panel:6124): WARNING **: panel-applet-frame.c:1261: failed to load applet OAFIID:GNOME_TSClientApplet: Failed to resolve, or extend '!prefs_key=/apps/panel/applets/applet_21/prefs;background=none:;orient=down;size=x-small;locked_down=false I've tried this on two different systems. If I revert to the version of tsclient in stable I am able to add the applet to the panel. However upon the first login after upgrading to the current version I am prompted with a GUI error dialog that states: The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_TSClientApplet". Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration? The options are "Don't Delete" and "Delete". It should probably also be noted that the applet does not have an icon in the "Add to panel" list displayed after selecting "Add to panel..." from the panel right-click menu. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (400, 'stable'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages tsclient depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.20-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii rdesktop 1.5.0-1 RDP client for Windows NT/2000 Ter tsclient recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
