Hi,

this is the output from the steps you told me:

dpkg-reconfigure uswsusp
Generating RSA key, this may take a while ...
libgcrypt version: 1.2.3
Key bits (between 1024 and 4096 inclusive) [1024]: Generating 4094-bit
RSA keys. Please wait. Testing the private key. Please wait.
Passphrase please (must be non-empty): Confirm passphrase:
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.17-2-686

debconf-show uswsusp
  uswsusp/RSA_passphrase: (password omitted)
  uswsusp/RSA_passphrase_v: (password omitted)
* uswsusp/compute_checksum: true
  uswsusp/no_snapshot:
* uswsusp/suspend_loglevel:
  uswsusp/no_swap:
* uswsusp/early_writeout: true
* uswsusp/image_size: 239384412
* uswsusp/compress: true
* uswsusp/create_RSA_key: true
* uswsusp/snapshot_device:
* uswsusp/RSA_key_file: /etc/uswsusp.key
* uswsusp/max_loglevel:
* uswsusp/resume_device: /dev/hda5
  uswsusp/shutdown_method: platform
* uswsusp/encrypt: true
  uswsusp/splash: false
* uswsusp/RSA_key_bits: 4094
* uswsusp/continue_without_swap: true

I should mention that key creation worked fine some versions of
uswsusp ago.
I tried also 0.3~cvs20060928-3 but I didn't work.

Thanks a lot for your help.
